Being a DESIGNER is another animal altogether. It takes creativity and passion to actually design a wedding. A designer takes your initial vision and creates a comprehensive look for your day. From the invitation guests receive in the mail, to the ceremony & reception look, down to the favors your guests leave with. When all is said and done, your guests walk away from your day with a visual image they can never forget. We actually want your wedding to reflect your style, your culture and interests.
Not every planner can be a designer. Actually, not every designer can be a planner.Wedding Jeannie has the unique combination of floral design experience, as well as planning & management skills. You might say to yourself, "that's why I have a florist". Yes your florist designs your wedding flowers based on the theme or vision you have for your day. It doesn't guarantee they can help you ensure your invitations, linens, rentals, cake design, and more, coordinate with your venue or your theme.
Many of my couples come to me with fractured ideas about what they want. They know their style or theme, and want it to be stunning. However when they share photos or their Pinterest page I quickly identify the problems. Usually what I see is several different styles of florals, invitations, and set-ups. It's a fractured mix of ideas that don't mesh. We help to identify what it is you like about each on of those ideas, take away what isn't important and help you FOCUS.
Even if you only need Month Of Planning services from us, you can add Design Services. Our Design Services begin at $800. It includes a meeting to learn about your ideas (please bring all your photos), create design boards for you, give you referrals of vendors who match your vision and budget, and conduct a design meeting at your venue with the key creative players.
